Session Overview:

This presentation will provide an overview of drug and drug disease interactions that are relevant to the care of people with Parkinson’s Disease and address the complexity of multimorbidity and polypharmacy. Medicines have made a profound contribution to the treatment of Parkinson’s disease but also contribute to symptom burden. The presentation will address drug related problems and the impact of absorption and metabolism of medicines that results in changes in efficacy and adverse effects. Information will be relevant and practical using a case-based approach. There will be dedicated question and answer time which will enable participants to reflect on their own practice and have these discussed.

Webinar attendance and completion of the reflection tool can be included in your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) portfolio. A certificate will be issued after the webinar.
