Patient-reported Outcome Measures

People with neurological conditions are at the centre of increasingly complex healthcare and interventions.
How do we know that we are providing the best care from the patient’s perspective?

Join Melissa Tinsley as she draws on her experience as a patient outcomes specialist and neuroscience nurse to introduce patient-reported measures, and how we can integrate them into our care delivery and considerations.

About our Speaker:

Mel is currently the Manager for Clinical Information and Decision Support at the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation. She leads a diverse team who have key roles and functions to support large systems transformation. Ensuring a range of patient, clinical, process and outcome data are developed and implemented in a co-design approach to ensure we are supporting a value based healthcare system and importantly improving the health outcomes and experiences of care for people across NSW. Key to the success of the program areas is adopting and supporting e-enabled solutions to improve outcomes and experiences of care for patients.

An exciting component of her current role is leading the implementation of the Patient Reported Measures program, inclusive of the PRM IT solution – Health Outcomes and Patient Experience (HOPE). This program is proudly breaking new ground and leading the way for many aspects locally and internationally when it comes to Patient Reported Measures & implementation of e-enabled solutions.
